Britons can snap up a free £205 by opening one of HSBC’s new multi-currency accounts – and they don’t need to switch banks.
The cash is granted in two instalments: £125 initially and an additional £80 if the account remains open until April 2024.
With this offer, people can open a current account without switching current accounts and get the £125.
They can grab another £80 if they make a minimum of five payments using their Global Money multi-currency debit card by April 21 2024, which can also be used in the UK.
The banking giant is also offering a prize draw to new customers who open both an Advance current account and a Global Money Account.
How to claim the £205 bonus?
New customers need to open an HSBC Advance Account and deposit £1,500 within the first 60 days.
To be eligible for the Advance Account – which is a fee-free current account – they’ll need to be 18 or over and qualify for an optional arranged overdraft of at least £1,000.
Make at least five debit card payments and open an HSBC Global Money Account via the app – again within the first 60 days.
To qualify for either bonus, they can’t have held or opened an HSBC or a First Direct current account since October 1, 2018.

The £125 bonus will be paid into one’s HSBC Global Money Account 20 days after if they meet all the requirements above and qualify for it.
The £80 incentive will be paid into the same account next year, between May 1 and May 8, 2024.
The Global Money account allows people to hold money in 18 different currencies and make payments in those currencies, plus they can make transfers to over 200 countries in more than 50 currencies.
The prize draw will take place on May 29, 2024.

The £205 bonus is for new customers who open a current account and take out its global travel money product at the same time.
Martin Lewis told his ITV1 viewers: “There is a bank that will pay you a bonus and you don’t have to use its switching service, it, lets you keep your old service. It’s from HSBC it’s for newbies.
“Someone wrote to me the other day and, there are lots of times you have to do spending to trigger something, and they called it banana swipes because I always say spend a banana. So what we’re saying is literally you get your banana, and you go in the store, you buy it once and there you go, that’s a spending.”
