SOME Disney+ subscribers may notice that they're not able to take advantage of the streaming service's new cheaper plans on their TV box.
The company recently changed prices, introducing an ad-supported tier for £4.99 a month.
A standard subscription with fewer perks than before costs £7.99.
But to keep all the bells and whistles you now have to pay £3 more, at £10.99 per month.
Unfortunately for some viewers watching via Virgin Media they're stuck with the most expensive option only.
For some reason, the company's set-top boxes don't allow you to access Disney+ with either of the new standard plans.

Apple follows Netflix & Disney in raising subscription costs – are you affected?
If you subscribe to Disney+ through Disney directly and attempt to sign in with a standard account on your Virgin Media box it won't let you access anything.
And it's not possible to sign up to standard via Virgin either.
Confused users are met with a message which reads: "You are subscribed to Disney+ Standard with Ads which is currently not available on this set-top box.
"Please use another device."

It's not clear why Virgin Media's boxes don't allow Standard subscriptions, but it's website says: "For now, we only offer the Disney+ Premium plan.
"If you’d like to move to a different tier, you’ll need to cancel your subscription with us by logging in to your My Virgin Media account before signing up with Disney+ directly."
A possible workaround for those who do want to subscribe to Disney+'s standard tiers is by watching via your smart TV.
Most smart TVs will have the Disney+ app available to download so you can watch using any type of account.
The two new standard tiers limit customers to streaming content at a resolution of up to 1080p.
Only two devices can watch anything from the same account at the same time too.
The premium tier lets viewers stream content with a resolution of up to 4K in ultra HD, with up to four concurrent streams permitted.
