THIS is the incredible piece of tech that can transform any van into a camper without the need for a costly conversion.
The gadget has taken TikTok by storm as van lifers rave about how easy, cheap and comfortable it is.
German company PlugVan has created a range of unique "modules" that do all the work of converting a van for you.
The structures come ready-made and can be used on virtually any wagon on the market.
The unique device works by mounting a kitted-out living space on wheels, allowing you to slide it into the rear of your van.
It is also fully adjustable, giving it a one-size-fits-all applicability.

The frame can be shifted around so it sits snug against the confines of your space, effectively creating a campervan cabin within your existing boot.
Then, once you're done with your camping adventures, it can be popped back on its carrier and wheeled off again, giving you back your expansive storage space.
Even better, the PlugVan camper module is available for £9,363 in its basic spec.
Given that it can cost up to £15,000 to convert a van from scratch, this could end up saving you thousands.

A mid-level model, which adds a water tank, outdoor shower and folding table, retails at £12,800, while the most luxurious version, with a kitchen unit and cupboards, starts at £14,300.
Elsewhere in the range, PlugVan also offers a similar cooling module to enable haulage of chilled goods, as well as a workshop module that can transform your van into a mobile garage.
Social media commenters were left raving about the handy gadget.

It comes after important new road rules were unveiled in today's King's Speech as self-driving cars got the green light.
