\u201cHowever, leaving any towel in your bathroom can seriously increase the risk of dangerous bacteria growth should the conditions be wrong.<\/p>\n
\u201cDamp towels can hold bacteria, which may be harmful if left in a damp, unventilated bathroom.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s also worth pointing out that any smell would indicate bacteria of an unhealthy kind, so definitely do not let things get this far.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur advice would be to air your towel out after each use over a towel rail in a well-ventilated bathroom, you may do this around two to three times between each wash.\u201d<\/p>\n
