His mum Holly said: \u201cI don\u2019t think he expected it, I think he just thought, \u2018I\u2019ll sell some sweets and make some pocket money\u2019 to spend on toys he’s into like Pok\u00e9mon, Harry Potter and Lego.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s gone far beyond what any of us thought. When he was younger, he always told me he\u2019ll be a millionaire – he used to say he was going to be rich.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n \u201cI try and keep my distance and let him make the decisions and choose what he wants to sell, he tells me what sweets he needs and wants to buy, I\u2019m just there to tie the bags and support him.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Holly, the idea of starting a sweet shop only came about when the family moved to Scotland.<\/p>\n Through his Facebook page, local markets and school, Sol is able to sell his sweets across multiple platforms.<\/p>\n Outside of the family\u2019s new town, the young entrepreneur has been able to reach customers further south.<\/p>\n He shipped 47 bags of sweets to Gosport, Portsmouth, within a couple of weeks of starting his shop.<\/p>\n Holly added: \u201cIt was a normal evening when Sol randomly came downstairs and said he wanted to sell sweets.<\/p>\n \u201cHe gave me a Dragon\u2019s Den-style presentation and talked me through what he wanted to do and why.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s only one shop where we live and it\u2019s quite expensive there, and we get quite bad snow so you can be confined to the village.<\/p>\n \u201cHe realised no one else was doing it around here \u2013 we invested and from there it went a bit crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n
