Watch new ELECTRIC Corvette burn to the ground after intense fire – everybody is saying the same thing | The Sun

A CORVETTE has been seen engulfed in a fireball on a remote mountainside.

The video, uploaded to Instagram on the CocheSpias channel, suggests the car in question is a plug-in hybrid.

Chevrolet is currently testing these part-petrol, part-electric prototypes of its Corvette supercar, due to go on sale next year.

It'll be called the E-Ray and according to information on the video, the prototype was hot weather testing in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Spain.

The video is shot using a smartphone and begins by showing the car in an open car park engulfed with flames.

As the video moves around, you can see that every part of the car is on fire and nothing will be saved.
