Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have announced the arrival of their first child together, born on Saturday at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. The family will most likely move to their new Cotswolds property with the baby girl.

The Palace said in a statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday September 18, 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.

“The baby weighs six pounds and two ounces.

“The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care.

“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf.”

The baby girl is the couple’s first child although Edoardo already has a son from a previous relationship, Wolfie, who lives with them.

But where will the couple live with the new family addition?

Princess Beatrice, Edoardo, his son Wolfie and their new baby girl will presumably live in the £3million Cotswolds property the couple reportedly bought this summer.

The Cotswolds house is said to be a massive property with a swimming pool and a party barn.

Beatrice and  Edoardo used to live in an apartment at St James’s Palace but they decided to relocate to the countryside to start their new life before the baby arrived.

The Cotswolds, in the UK, is known for its charming towns as well as its breathtaking and calming scenery.

The property is located near woodlands and has lots of space for some of its luxury features such as swimming pools and tennis courts.

The beautiful home was on the market for around £3 million.

“The owner was very excited Bea had been round, though she tried to keep it quiet,” a source told the Daily Mail.

He also claimed Beatrice and Edoardo were very keen to put in an offer on the beautiful home.

Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, and her mother live in Windsor.

Eugenie has been staying at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s base, Frogmore Cottage, and Sarah lives at Royal Lodge Windsor.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge currently live in Kensington Palace but according to recent reports, the couple are looking to relocate to Windsor too.

Beatrice and Edoardo’s baby will be the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild after the arrival of the Sussexes’ second child in June.

Beatrice’s younger sister Princess Eugenie welcomed a baby boy, August, in February.

Both sisters are believed to be incredibly close.
