Location, Location, Location star Kirstie Allsopp has taken to Twitter once again to share her property advice. Last week, the property expert shared an “alternative” paint colour to grey. It comes as Kirstie said on Twitter last month that the colour grey “does not flatter a house”.
She also said it’s best to keep your walls “pale” if you do decide to go grey.
Instead, Kirstie suggested: “For anyone tempted by grey this is a great alternative ‘nutmeg white’ from @duluxuk filming @LoveitListitUK today in Aylesbury. #notanad”
The post was inundated with comments from fellow interior fans.
One user said: “But I’ve just painted the downstairs in ‘Pointing’.”
Kirstie said she also loved that colour.
“I LOVE ‘Pointing’,” she replied.
Another user replied jokingly: “I have this row with my wife all the time.
“This is grey Kirstie, my wife would no doubt tell me it is white too – or some other made up name as she tries to paint every room GREY.

“Forget about 50 it’s 150 shades of grey for you both.”
The property expert disagreed and said she would describe the colour as “dusky pink mushroom”.
Another Twitter user said: “I have this all over my house teamed with other colours.
“I have it with navy and gold in my living room I love it.”

Another person replied: “Thank you Kirstie, I’ve been in a dilemma about what colour to do my lounge.
“I love this colour and will definitely choose it.”
Last month, Kirstie also claimed that dark grey is not environmentally friendly for homes as it requires homeowners to use artificial light to illuminate their homes, rather than natural light.
She added: “In addition grey is environmentally unfriendly because it often requires more light, therefore more energy use.
“We should all find ways to add light without having to switch it on.”
A recent post from Kirstie on Instagram has revealed that she and her co-star, fellow property expert Phil Spencer, are filming a new series of Love it Or List it.
The post was a sped-up video of film crew and Phil entering and exiting a property in Leeds.
