The website's official social media profiles will likely release a statement if the outage is likely to last an extended period of time.
There is also a section on the OnlyFans website which details if problems are being investigated and is updated once they are resolved.
This could be down to maintenance or the server simply being overloaded, for example.
When have there been OnlyFans outages before?
OnlyFans has crashed on numerous occasions, much to the frustration of its users.

Before that, there were "glitches" on July 1, things weren't loading at the end of June, and content was streaming "like dial up" in May.
Official maintenance was carried out on June 28 but the issue was swiftly fully recovered and verified as resolved.
"Partial degradation" of the website's functionality was reported on May 14, with the site down for just over an hour.
Banking page maintenance was completed on April 4, along with several other investigations in early 2021.
The website was plagued with issues in November 2020, with two major outages lasting one hour and 15 minutes respectively.
